Organisational and financial support for the exhibition "By Women's Hands. Medieval Manuscripts from Cologne Collections".
Facilitation of the international symposium on rock crystal as well as the summer school in cooperation with the University of Cologne in the run-up to the large special exhibition „Magic Rock Crystal“ (25.11.2022 – 19.3.2023).

Organisational support and subsidy for the catalogue of the award-winning special exhibition "Arnt the sculptor of images. Master of animated sculptures."
2019
Photography campaign for the catalogue of the special exhibition "Sculpture through the lens of the camera. Alfred Tritschler’s photos of the Schnütgen collection" as well as financing the supporting programme of the exhibition.
The special presentation of the new acquisition of two Alabaster reliefs from the early 15th century is thanks to the Friends of the Museum.

Organisational support and financing of the catalogues of the special exhibitions "Under the Magnifying Glass" and "The Samson Master and His Age. Romanesque Sculpture in the Rhineland".

Funding for the high-quality presentation of the newly acquired Reliquary Diptych from the Spitzer Collection.
Organisational support and co-financing of the handbook on the collection published by Hirmer Verlag.
2016
The Friends of the Museum co-financed the position of the academic volunteer for 24 months.
2015
Support for the special exhibition "The Magi. Legend, Art and Cult".
2014
The presentation of the bronze baptismal font from Hildesheim Cathedral from March to June was exclusively made possible through the Friends of the Museum, who took over the costs for its transport, insurance and exhibition.
The 2014 St. Cecilia concert series, a joint project with ZAMUS (Zentrum für Alte Musik Köln, Centre for Old Music in Cologne) and the Kunststiftung NRW (Art Foundation of North-Rhine Westphalia), was only possible thanks to the organisational and financial support of the Friends of the Museum.
2013
The 2013 St. Cecilia concert series, a joint project with ZAMUS (Zentrum für Alte Musik Köln, Centre for Old Music in Cologne) and the Kunststiftung NRW (Art Foundation of North Rhine-Westphalia), was only possible thanks to the organisational and financial support of the Friends of the Museum.
The museum was able to employ an additional trainee for seven months thanks to the financial support of the Friends of the Museum.
