Concert with the vocal ensemble Trio Ukraina
Thursday, March 26, 2026, 6 p.m.
The vocal ensemble Trio Ukraina was founded in Bonn in the spring of 2022 by Yulia Parnes (Bonn, born in Moscow), Iryna Dusheiko (Kyiv), and Yana Andrushchenko (Kyiv). It brings together three singers with classical musical training who thrill audiences with their impressive voices, strong stage presence, and deeply emotional interpretations. The repertoire consists of Ukrainian songs—traditional, classical, modern—and song traditions from other countries such as Georgia, France, Italy, Greece, and Germany. Classical pieces from the Baroque to the modern era and Jewish songs from Eastern Europe are also part of their program. The singers combine the commonalities of musical cultures with their own extraordinary three-part arrangements with great dedication. Their music moves and enlivens, saddens and encourages.
The concert at the Museum Schnütgen is part of the special exhibition “Light in Dark Times. Medieval Stained Glass from the Khanenko Museum in Kyiv.”
Admission to the concert is free; only the museum entrance fee of €6 must be paid.

“Light in dark times” – Donations for Kyiv
The exhibition “Light in Dark Times: Medieval Stained Glass from the Khanenko Museum in Kyiv” was prompted by the impending loss of many works of art due to Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, which began in 2022.
Become a restoration sponsor and support the Khanenko Museum in the future reconstruction of its collection!
The war damage caused by tremors and rapid emergency measures has left its mark on the precious stained glass paintings and throughout the museum.
The Ernst von Siemens Art Foundation and the HERMANN REEMTSMA FOUNDATION are supporting the Museum Schnütgen in this project as part of their UKRAINE funding program.
